EFFECTS OF HAWAIIAN BABY WOODROSE SEEDS
Because Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds contain alkaloid LSA (or ergine), it has somehow become the legally obtainable alternative to the more popular (and illegal) psychedelic LSD. Although the seeds have been used for medicinal purposes in India and other parts of the world, some people have used it for “psycho-recreational” purposes. With one seed, threshold effects may already be palpable, characterized by a mild, floaty feeling.

“LIGHT” EFFECTS
With two to four seeds, relatively “light” psychedelic effects may usually be experienced. The ability to visualize complex systems is enhanced, as well as one’s auditory perceptions of background noises. In some cases, a person who has a light “trip” may have auditory hallucinations and claim to “hear” things. Feelings of tranquility and lethargy are also reportedly experienced.
“MEDIUM” EFFECTS
Five to seven seeds will already start to alter one’s thought processes, mostly cognitive. One’s perception of time and space may be affected. At this stage, it is said that a feeling of light euphoria is experienced, along with an unusual mood lift. This may be a “good trip” for some, but on the other hand, a “bad trip” may be a risk with a dosage of five to seven seeds. This is characterized by emotional disturbance and one fearing that they have permanently lost control.
Four to six seeds is the standard dose. Effects of the seeds are somewhat similar to the effects of LSD, though significantly less potent. While effects of dosages may vary from person to person, ingestion of seven to nine seeds is not recommended. Side effects may be quite overwhelming. In some cases, it may pose danger to the health.
SIDE EFFECTS
Some of the side effects of ingesting Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds are as follows:
* tachycardia or increased heart rate
* distorted sense of equilibrium
* impaired motor skills
* nausea
* pupil dilation
* sensitivity to light
* uterine contractions, which may lead to miscarriage in pregnant women
The effects of the seeds generally last 4-12 hours, with after-effects stretching til the next day or two. Some people claim that a deep, refreshing sleep is one of the after-effects of ingestion. But a bad “hangover” reportedly leaves one with feelings of severe nausea, gastric discomfort, flatulence, blurred vision, vertigo, and physical inertia.
