Psychotropic Use of HBWR Seeds
In India, Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds are still being used for medicinal purposes. In other places such as Haiti, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii, however, HBWR are widely famous for its psychoactive or psychotropic effects. The effects of Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds are comparable to LSD due to the fact that it contains LSA which is LSD’s chemical analog. The effects, however, though evidently comparable are of a less potent degree. Effects of the seeds vary depending on the dosage and sensitivity of the user to the substance. A major concurrence is the known fact that the seeds produce a psychedelic effect.

Hallucinations in the cognitive level are usually associated with HBWR seed use. There have also been some reports of auditory counterparts. This means that psychological functions are (sometimes greatly) altered and view of time, ideas, and reality are often distorted. Erratic blinking patterns also form upon usage. Intake of heavy LSA dosages has the ability to destroy your perception of reality altogether and could take you on a subconscious trip in time and space which you might not be able to distinguish from tangible reality. Doses of a lighter degree, however, could induce as little as lifting moods and slight euphoric effects.
Different strains of the HBWR plant produce different effects. Strains originating from Ghana and India are reportedly lower in LSA content than its Hawaiian strain counterpart. This means that it takes double or triple the amount of the Ghana or India strains to match the effects of the Hawaiian strain. Plants from Ghana and India could induce euphoria and heightened sensation but hallucinatory visions are virtually non-existent. In terms of appearance, the three strains differ considerably from one another. Hawaiian strains, though darker in color, have similar linty seed coats as those of the Indian strain. Strains from Ghana lack this linty seed coat. All three strains of seed, nevertheless, are identical in shape.
The usual dosage for Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds is six seeds though effects could be felt by ingestion of the third. Extreme effects could be felt beyond the twelfth seed though consuming such large amount may not be advisable for everyone. Duration of effects varies but the usual is somewhere around four to twelve hours. After the initial wave of hallucination passes, only a slight euphoric sensation remains though this feeling could last for an entire day. Other side effects include frequent flatulence or passing gas and severe nausea. Your motor skills would also, of course, be affected and there is heightened light sensitivity. Older seeds are generally less in potency because the seeds could decompose in only a few months (about fix to nine). Intake of HBWR seeds are not recommended for pregnant women as it may cause miscarriage. Otherwise, with the correct dosage, intake of HBWR seeds should be perfectly all right.
